The M&CCE Expo Update

The Marine & Coastal Civil Engineering Expo has gone from strength to strength over the last few months, with requests to exhibit continuing to flood in. Some of the latest specialist supplies to grow the growing number of innovative exhibitors includes William Plant, the Professional Diving Academy, Valeport, Tideman Boats, and Meerkat Workboats, who will also be showcasing their latest products at the event on the banks of the River Thames.

This continued growth is in part down to the establishment of the M&CCE Expo as one of the most influential events on the civil engineering industry calendar.

Nowhere else can project managers, lead engineers, BDOs, procurement managers, and managing directors from some of the industry’s largest construction companies and most challenging civil engineering projects meet to discover the most innovative products, services, and strategies set to change the way their projects are completed.

This show’s rapidly growing reputation has been supported by the increase of relevant and informative case studies and seminars schedule across the two-day event. One notable edition to this year’s scintillating schedule is the inclusion of EDF’s Marine Area Construction Manager, Rob Holtom, who will be giving a revealing insight in to the engineering challenges of the Hinkly Point C project.

I can announce that the M&CCE Expo Innovation Award 2017 will also be contested. The winner will be named and presented with the accolade at the event. If you would like to be considered as a finalist for this award, make sure you contact me as soon as possible.

In recent weeks, we’ve seen an influx of high profile decision makers from large organisations registering for tickets including those from major construction companies; port, harbour and marina authorities; councils; and more.

This increase has been aided by the rapid growth of the neighbouring Flood Expo, which is set to break record exhibitor and visitor numbers. The relationship between the two shows has furthered the enthusiasm for the show.
