Port of Dover’s flagship Dover Western Docks Revival (DWDR) development. Overview of the marine, reclamation and compaction.
The £250 million DWDR development is the single biggest investment ever undertaken by the Port and represents the next exciting evolution of the Port, delivering long-term capacity for a key international gateway handling trade to the value of £122bn representing up to 17% of UK trade in goods. The development is being delivered by the VSBW ( Volker Stevin and Boskalis Westminster) JV. This seminar will provide an overview of the dredging, reclamation and CDC ( compaction ) that was undertaken by Boskalis and sister company Cofra UK.
