James West and David Goldsmith
James West is the Marine Segment leader for Tideland Signal in the EMEA region. James has worked for over 20 years in the marine industry and for 6 years with Tideland Signal, a global manufacturer and installer of Marine Aids to Navigation. Now focused on large projects, James assists clients to finalise their projects by ensuring their Aids to Navigation meet local and international requirements and IALA guidelines.
David has a BSc (Hons) in Geographical Science from Portsmouth University and an MSc in Oceanography from the University of Southampton. He began his career in 1998 working for EMU Environmental (now Fugro EMU) and EGSi (both UK and Hong Kong offices) working on inshore and offshore oceanographic/geophysical survey projects around the world. In 2004 David started his career in instrumentation sales and support with RS Aqua Ltd and then joined Xylem Analytics in 2013 to lead the Ocean and Coastal Division working with brands such as Aanderaa, Sontek and YSI.
